My Uncle's Wake

My uncle Mike died of cancer on Tuesday. It made me feel sad. It made me think about Grandma gigi and Grandpa Frank. I wish I could see them again. Today we went to Uncle Mikes wake and that means we saw Uncle Mike for the last time. When I saw him he had a smile on his face. Sammy prayed to Uncle Mike all the time. Sammy is my cousin. On the next day we are going to his funeral.

    Dear Marlena, Granny and I are so sorry to hear about Uncle Mike. We knew he had not been well. We, too, miss Grandma Gigi and Grandpa Frank. You are lucky to have good memories though, of Uncle Mike, what fun he was and writing about him, keeps those memories alive. Thanks for writing. Our love to all of you. Baba and Granny
